How does Electronic Equipment Insurance work?

Electronic Equipment Insurance in action

A student borrows a laptop to complete an assignment and accidently drops it on his way to the school library. The screen is cracked and the casing broken. As a result the laptop fails to work.

Thanks to Electronic Equipment Insurance, the damage is assessed free of charge and we decide to replace the laptop with a new model. We also cover the costs of transferring data from the broken laptop to the new one.
